We are currently seeking applicants for an open Accounting Intern position in our general accounting department at our Headquarters facility in Springfield,  MO.  This position offers part time employment during summer 2021 with the opportunity to continue into the fall.  Normal working days are Monday through Friday.  You could also potentially receive course credit while working at AECI!   Contact your school’s career center for more information.

 

Qualified applicants must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with at least a 3.0 GPA preferred.  You must also be enrolled in school at the time of the internship.

 

The candidate will have the opportunity to work with our accountants in preparing and posting journal entries,  accounts receivable billing,  invoices,  end of month reports,  reconciliations,  workpapers for our quarterly financial statements,  workpapers for the annual audit,  and special projects such as assisting with the fixed asset inventories at our power plants.
