Description

The Animal Health Division is responsible for controlling,  eradicating and testing for livestock disease in Missouri.  This is accomplished through stringent animal health regulations and rigorous disease testing,  as well as vaccinations and regulatory programs.

Responsibilities

Interns will assist and learn about the various programs in Animal Health such as the Meat and Poultry Inspections,  the Diagnostic Labs,  Veterinarian job shadow,  and Missouri’s Animal Care Facility pro.

Qualifications

General Criteria:  Full-time college student (Freshman through Senior).  Academic Status:  Preferred 3.0 or higher and in good academic standing.  Internships will begin in May 16,  2020 and end the week of August 23,  2020 (will also work with school schedule).
