Description

Programming internships are available at our Headquarters facility in Springfield,  Missouri.  These are paid internships that offer employment during summer 2020,  some with the opportunity to continue on a part time basis during the fall and spring semesters.  Normal working days are Monday through Friday.  You could also potentially receive course credit while working at AECI!  Contact your school’s career center for more information.

Qualified applicants must be currently enrolled in a computer science,  computer information systems,  computer
engineering,  or electrical engineering curriculum with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or greater.  A candidate familiar with the latest Microsoft technologies (C#,  .NET,  ASP,  SQL Server,  Reporting Services and SharePoint)  is preferred.

 

Responsibilities

Qualified applicants must be currently enrolled in a computer science,  computer information systems,  computer
engineering,  or electrical engineering curriculum with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or greater.  A candidate familiar with the latest Microsoft technologies (C#,  .NET,  ASP,  SQL Server,  Reporting Services and SharePoint)  is preferred.

These students will join our group of 20+  developers to assist with the following:

  • Maintenance of the current system while having the opportunity to learn more about control systems,  power generation,  power transmission,  and time-critical applications
  • Design and manipulate the system through the Energy Management System (EMS)  interfaces and data
    manipulation tools
  • Partner with professionals,  such as engineers,  accountants,  and human resources to provide programming/technical support
