Description

The St.  Louis Blues/Enterprise Center seeks qualified candidates interested in a future career in digital media to serve as a season-long Digital Media Intern.  This is an unpaid role,  but candidates must be able to receive college credit by completing this internship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Digital Media team with day-to-day maintenance of Blues,  Enterprise Center and Stifel Theatre digital channels,  including websites,  mobile apps,  email and social media.
  • Help in the creation of emails and updates to websites using Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of images/graphics for websites and emails.
  • Create copy for marketing,  team,  venue related communications.
  • Help team execute ideas for usage on social media channels
  • Assist Marketing team throughout the season with promotions,  theme nights and special events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current college student seeking communications,  digital media,  journalism or related degree
  • Interest in pursuing future career in digital media
  • Innovative person,  who is looking to put their creativity to work
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule around game days/nights,  including weekends
  • Basic knowledge of HTML,  or the desire the learn
  • Experience with basic photo editing
  • Strong interest/knowledge of hockey is a plus
  • Basic experience with Adobe creative suite (Photoshop,  Premiere,  and Dreamweaver)
  • Strong written,  verbal communication skills,  along with attention to detail,  are a MUST
