Hourly Rate: $17.77

Duration of Assignment: May 2024 – August 2024

Job Location: This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality, Northeast Regional Office, and will be located at 1709 Prospect Drive, Macon, Missouri.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Scrap Tire Collection Center Inspections
  • Investigate Scrap Tire Concerns
  • Follow up on the removal of Scrap Tires and Solid Waste

Qualifications

Professional Experience to be Gained:

  • Understanding in the area of environmental regulations in Missouri
  • Interacting with the public regarding compliance determination
  • Practice technical writing skills

All you need for success:

  • Undergraduate student with major in biological science, environmental science, chemistry, natural resources, geology, engineering, or related field.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to conduct field work
  • Ability to drive a state vehicle as a licensed driver
