Job Location: This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality, Air Pollution Control Program, and will be located at 1659 E. Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in the management of ambient air monitoring data. The work may include assistance with a study of non-regulatory ambient air monitoring sensors or assistance with regulatory ambient air monitoring data.
  • Assist with ambient air monitoring site evaluations. Ambient air monitors must meet regulatory siting criteria. The selected candidate may assist with the routine verification that the monitoring locations continue to meet siting criteria.

Qualifications

ll you need for success:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student with a college or university.
  • Working towards a scientific degree such as atmospheric science, engineering, environmental science, math, chemistry, and/or physics. Other scientific backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel.
  • Well organized.
  • Works well with others
