First State Interns - Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders by Investing in Your Potential

 

First State Community Bank, First State Financial Management and First State Insurance Agency are locally owned and operated companies serving residents and businesses of Southeast and Central Missouri. We offer comprehensive banking services including wealth management and insurance solutions.

 

As we continue to expand our services, we take pride in nurturing local talent within our communities which is why we’re excited to welcome Juniors and Seniors to support the financial well-being of their neighbors. Even if you are not majoring in business, you will be provided the unique ability to work hands-on either directly with customers or those that support our customer base.

 

Applications are open November 1st - January 31st.

Intern program runs June 3rd - July 23rd*.

 

*Actual dates will vary depending upon the assigned location. All interns are expected to participate in our professional development activities that take place from June - July. See below for a detailed breakout of our timeline.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree from an accredited institution
  • Junior or Senior level college students preferred

  • Lodging expenses and most meals covered for required and requested on-site dates
