Description

The League of Women Voters of Missouri is looking for a summer intern who is excited about educating and empowering voters. This is a great opportunity for a student who is interested in community engagement, communications and government. 

Our organization is seeking an intern who can work 12 hours a week (flexible timing) in 2023. The League office in Brentwood is open between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. 

Pay is $12 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Using Word, Excel, Publisher, Canva and other software to create documents, spreadsheets, graphics, and flyers;
  • Regularly posting to social media and reviewing lwvmo.org website;
  • Supporting the League’s efforts to educate and empower voters.

Qualifications

As a volunteer-run grassroots organization, the League values diversity and teamwork. It is important that the intern have strong communication skills and be able to follow instructions clearly and efficiently.  

The League is committed to nonpartisan issue-based advocacy and voter education. The intern must be able to carry out the duties of this role without partisanship or bias.
