Description

This is a Full Time Seasonal Position from 5/30/22 through 8/7/22.   You must be currently enrolled in a college,  university,  or technical school.

Throughout this program,  interns will be working 40 hours in slot and 5 hours out of slot each week.  These 5 hours will be dedicated to various tasks,  such as meeting with supervisors and working on a project.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • No mask required unless you are not fully vaccinated according to the CDC requirements.
  • Serve as a Front Line Host and P.I.C.  (Person in Charge)  with our Culinary Team,  Guest Services and Attractions operations.
  • Participate in Training and Safety meetings,  Team Leader meetings,  and weekly intern group meetings with Silver Dollar City Finance,  Human Resources,  Safety &  Security,  Maintenance,  House and Grounds,  Buyers,  Managers,  etc.   We are committed to making this internship a tremendous experience for you.
  • Learn scheduling procedures.
  • Learn time keeping procedures.
  • Learn performance review procedures. 
  • With weekly evaluations for you to help you succeed.
  • Assist with written communications.
  • Assist with creating and implementing improvements in safety,  guest excellence,  profit contribution and job satisfaction.
  • Assist with team projects including surveys,  appreciation events,  team outings and company events.
  • Assist Supervisors and Team Leads with various tasks.
  • Complete one project benefiting at least one area as determined by management.
