Job Location: This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources,  Division of State Parks,  and will be located at Stockton State Park,  19100 S Hwy 215,  Dadeville,  MO 65635

You will be assisting Stockton State Park with the management of natural resources and the control of non-native and invasive species throughout the park providing a more natural and therefore more enjoyable experience for the many guests that visit the park each year.


  • Identify the non-native and invasive plants that are growing in the park.
  • Control the non-native and invasive plants through a variety of methods including pulling,  cutting,  spraying,  mowing,  etc.
  • Document areas worked in,  methods used,  plants targeted,  and time spent.


  • State issued driver’s license
  • Ability to perform outdoor work in rugged/uneven terrain in all kinds of weather and environmental conditions.
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
