CWDB is currently seeking an energetic and excited Instagram &  Tik Tok intern to join our team.   If you’re an ambitious,  creative person who has a passion for communication and social media,  especially in the area of Instagram &  Tik Tok,  then this is the internship for you! 

An internship with the Central Workforce Development Board  provides the opportunity for individuals to gain experience and hands-on-training,  as well as academic credit,  if requested.  This is currently an unpaid internship.

We’re seeking that unique individual who will help us take our current Instagram presence and grow it through various forms,  including posts,  reels,  stories,  and more,  as well as assisting us with creating a Tik Tok presence,  in order to increase awareness of our Central Missouri Job Center services. 



  • Set achievable goals for the growth of the CWDB Instagram &  Tik Tok accounts. 
  • Maintain a professional image for the Central Region Missouri Job Centers,  while creating fun and engaging content for Instagram &  Tik Tok audiences. 
  • Work with the Communications Coordinator to outline content and schedules. 
  • Keep engagement strong with the current community. 



  • Current enrollment in the field of Marketing,  Communications,  Journalism or similar.
  • Ability to develop and exude passion for helping others find their place in the workforce. 
  • Ability to work effectively and productively with other staff and clientele.  
  • A passion to serve.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with and support teams. 
  • Organized and professional. 
  • Creative and innovative. 
  • Good attention to detail. 
  • Strong personal ethics and integrity.
  • Must be able to keep strict confidentiality,  as our Central Missouri Job Centers work with a variety of clients. 
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms. 
  • Experience with Canva preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
